JOB SUMMARY
Performs a variety of duties in surgical services to maintain a well-supplied, sterile environment. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Performs terminal cleaning of each operating room daily, including thorough decontamination of furniture, equipment, and air vents.
- Transports case carts, equipment, and supplies and disposes of hazardous waste according to policies and procedures.
- Monitors and maintains supply inventories at an appropriate par level.
- Provides physical assistance for patient positioning, lifting, and moving as directed by clinical nursing staff.
- Must be familiar with Women’s Services, including Cesarean Sections.

Schedule / Shift
Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Hours: 7P-7A

Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider
- Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
