JOB TITLE: Radiologic Technologist
JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services and excellent patient care across various locations. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and able to support different teams and perform a range of duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform radiologic examinations and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Ensure accurate patient registration and clerical support as required.
• Assist with various duties to support walk-in care teams.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care and exam quality.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Work at multiple locations including the main hospital and walk-in care facilities.
• Adapt to varied duties depending on the specific location and needs.
Schedule / Shift
• 38 (or 40) hours per week positions available.
• Includes day, evening, overnights (if CT trained), and weekend shifts.
• Requires weekend rotation.
• Flexibility in scheduling is critical.
• Specific shift examples include: 4 shifts, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with a weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
• ARRT Registered.
• Maine State RT Licensure.
• BLS Certification.
Experience
• 2+ years of solid hospital experience preferred.
Skills
• Proficiency in performing radiologic examinations.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to varied duties and locations.
• Willingness to support clerical tasks and patient registration.
EMR / Systems
• Not specified. (Supplemented with general expectation)
Unit / Specialty
• Radiology
• CT services available at main hospital and Wells location.
• Services provided at main campus in York, Maine, and walk-in care facilities in York and Sanford.
Floating / On-Call
• Must be able and willing to work at all specified locations as needed.
• Varied shifts and locations based on need.
Preferred Qualifications
• Fluency in Bone Density, Fluoroscopy, C-Arm, CT, and Portable Radiology preferred.
