JOB TITLE: Certified Medication Aide - Certified Medication Technician (aide)
JOB SUMMARY
Provide direct support and guidance to individuals to help them learn and develop essential daily living skills and life activities, enabling them to live as independently as possible. This role involves creating a supportive environment focused on personal growth, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist individuals in developing daily living skills and engaging in meaningful life activities.
• Create an environment conducive to learning, growth, and personal discovery.
• Collaborate with individuals to identify and achieve personal goals for a fulfilling life.
• Monitor the comfort and safety of individuals served, ensuring their medical, nutritional, and personal care needs are met.
• Provide emotional support to individuals.
• Assist with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry duties.
Required Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medication Aide Certification in good standing.
• Valid U.S. driver's license, where applicable.
• Ability to perform frequent physical activity, including extended standing and walking, with bending, occasional sitting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting, and balancing.
• Ability to perform frequent reaching between knee and shoulder level, with frequent reaching below knee and overhead.
• Ability to perform occasional independent lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds of force, and safely transfer 50 pounds.
• Effective and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Commitment to assisting others and exceeding expectations.
• A "can-do" attitude with a willingness to assist with tasks beyond a defined job scope.

Experience
