JOB SUMMARY
To assist physicians and registered nurses in performing endoscopic procedures by preparing equipment, assisting during procedures, and ensuring patient and room readiness.

Key Responsibilities
• Sterilize and prepare rooms and equipment, including scopes, before and after procedures.
• Support and assist physicians and registered nurses with procedures.
• Verify proper equipment functioning and perform safety checks.
• Maintain and/or repair endoscopic equipment.
• Collect and deliver specimens collected during procedures, maintaining sterility.
• Assist with patient intake, transport, paperwork, and recordkeeping.
• Place devices to monitor vital signs on patients.
• Distribute information regarding equipment or instruments at in-service training sessions.
• Validate and refresh basic professional skills through participation in in-service trainings.

Full-Time

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Experience
• One of the following required:
• Six (6) months of Endoscopy Technician experience.

Certifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
