JOB TITLE
OR - Cardiac Cath Lab/Angio Tech - Days - Cath Lab Technologist

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing health care teams with the information needed for a fast, accurate diagnosis. This role is within the Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology labs.
- Operate imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including patient education and monitoring.
- Provide direct patient care during procedures.
- Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential required.
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- AHA ACLS required.

Experience
- One (1) year of experience or training in a Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting preferred.

Certifications
- ARRT RT(R)
- Oregon Radiologic Technology License
- BLS (Healthcare Provider)
- ACLS (AHA)

Skills
- Technical proficiency in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
- Ability to operate diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
