JOB SUMMARY
Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting to improve their functional abilities and independence.

Key Responsibilities
• Administer occupational therapy evaluations and treatments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve daily living and functional independence.
• Document patient progress and treatment according to facility standards.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as H200/L300 and BURT as needed.
• Perform ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and evaluations.
• Conduct usual inpatient rehabilitation treatments.

Schedule / Shift
• Days
• Minimum of 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week period.

Required Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation.
• Ability to flex and work as part of a team.
• Outgoing, flexible, and knowledgeable personality.

Experience
• Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
• Expecting 5-6 hours of treatment per patient.

Certifications
• BLS

EMR / Systems
• Meditech

Patient Population
• Inpatient Rehabilitation

Unit / Specialty
• Inpatient Rehabilitation
• 32-bed unit with approximately 35 therapists and 50 nurses.

Floating / On-Call
• May be required to float to other Methodist Inpatient Rehab facilities.
• Weekend coverage expected (minimum of 2 per 4-week period).

Education: Masters Degree
