JOB SUMMARY
Surgical Technologists are essential members of the surgical team, responsible for providing direct patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment. They prepare the operating room, organize and handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures, and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room by setting up sterile instrumentation, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist the surgical team by anticipating surgeon's needs and passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to all aseptic techniques.
• Perform surgical counts to ensure all instruments and supplies are accounted for.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment post-procedure.
• Transport specimens and surgical items as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications
• Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.

Experience
• Must not be a first-time traveler.
