JOB TITLE: CT Tech
JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our Radiology department. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of CT scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide efficient and high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role supports the ER department with timely and efficient imaging for stroke and trauma patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standard CT scans accurately and efficiently.
- Operate CT scanners and associated equipment, including GE and Siemens modalities.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Review patient history and physician's orders to determine appropriate scanning protocols.
- Document patient care activities and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Respond to ER department needs for stroke and trauma imaging with a focus on turnaround times.
- Apply AIDET principles for excellent patient experience.

Schedule / Shift:
Tues-Thurs 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of CT experience.
- GE scanner experience.
- Trauma and Stroke experience.
- Advanced skills in Terra Recon or reformatting on another platform.

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Experience in a hospital setting, with a focus on ER support for stroke and trauma.

Skills:
- Proficiency in performing standard CT scans.
- Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners.
- Terra Recon or reformat experience on an alternative platform.
- Ability to work efficiently and support rapid turnaround times.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-focused approach to care delivery.

- Meditech
- GE Centricity

Patient Population:
- Adult

Unit / Specialty:
- CT Department (Main)

Floating / On-Call:
- May float to the main department.
- Minimal call required.

Certifications:
- ARRT CT
- BLS
- Florida (FL) License

Dress Code:
- Black scrubs (HCA Division policy)
