JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and independent X-ray Technologist for a Level 3 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of general X-ray procedures and experienced with Siemens equipment. This role requires the ability to work autonomously and perform procedures in various settings, including the Operating Room and during fluoroscopy examinations.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform a full range of diagnostic X-ray procedures, including general radiography.
• Operate X-ray equipment, specifically Siemens systems, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Conduct fluoroscopy procedures, ensuring patient safety and image clarity.
• Provide X-ray imaging support in the Operating Room environment.
• Work independently, managing workload and patient flow effectively.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Unit / Specialty
Level 3 Trauma Center

Experience
• Extensive X-ray experience required.
• Demonstrated experience with Siemens X-ray equipment is essential.
• Proven experience in fluoroscopy procedures.
• Previous experience working in an Operating Room (OR) setting is mandatory.

Skills
• Proficiency in all aspects of general X-ray imaging.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety principles.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Certifications
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Relevant state licensure or certification as required.

Schedule / Shift

Floating / On-Call
• Willingness to float to other related imaging areas may be required.
• On-call responsibilities may be part of the role.
