JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a highly skilled and ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab position. This role involves assisting physicians in a fast-paced environment performing various cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
- Perform PCI, Impella, balloon pump procedures, and device implants.
- Scrub for ablations and lead revisions.
- Operate imaging equipment, including Toshiba X-Ray and Cannon equipment.
- Utilize EPIC-Cupid for charting and documentation.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and provide patient care as needed.
Schedule / Shift
- 4x10 Days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
- Requires 7 call shifts per 4-week schedule block, including potential full weekends.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification.
- Current MA License as a Radiology Technologist.
- AHA BLS Certification.
- AHA ACLS Certification.
Experience
- 3+ years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
- 2 years of travel experience.
- Experience with Interventional, Cardiac, PCI, Scrub, and EP procedures.
Skills
- Proficient in cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Skilled in Electrophysiology procedures including device implants and ablations.
- Experience with scrub role in a Cath/EP Lab setting.
- Ability to operate X-Ray and imaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique.
