JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) traveler to join a dynamic Operating Room (OR) team at a Level III trauma center.
Key Responsibilities
Assist surgeons during operative procedures by providing the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Prepare and maintain the sterile field.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are met.
Schedule / Shift
4 x 10-hour shifts with a rotating call schedule.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program.
Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Association of Surgical Technologist (AST) or NCCT.
Active Colorado Surgical Tech (CST) License issued by DORA.
Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
Experience
Must have experience with Ortho, total joints, Neuro/Spine, Robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci), Urology, GYN, ENT, and Plastics.
Skills
Proficiency in surgical instrument handling and preparation.
Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures.
Ability to anticipate surgeon's needs.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
