1. Perform dental cleanings including scaling, polishing, and prophylaxis.
2. Conduct oral health assessments to identify signs of disease or abnormalities.
3. Take and interpret x-rays as directed by the dentist.
4. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
5. Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants.
6. Assist dentists during examinations and procedures.
7. Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially.
8. Ensure infection control and compliance with safety protocols.
9. 
   

1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
2. Current state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
3. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
4. Strong communication and patient care skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. 
   

1. Prior experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
2. Familiarity with electronic dental records systems.
3. 
   

1. CPR certification required.
2. Additional dental or healthcare certifications are a plus.
