JOB SUMMARY
Provide diagnostic imaging services using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain the necessary diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast agents as required.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
- Maintain imaging equipment and work area.
- Document patient care and procedure details in the electronic medical record.

Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or equivalent.
- State licensure or certification as required by law.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced level MRI certification.

Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience
- Experience operating GE MRI machines.

Skills
- Proficient in MRI operation and patient positioning.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to MRI.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

EMR / Systems
- Epic

Patient Population
- General adult and adolescent patient population.

Unit / Specialty
- MRI services within a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Floating / On-Call
- Will position float between units: No
- Is on-call required? No
