JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with First Assist experience for a travel assignment in the Operating Room (OR).

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the surgeon during operative procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile operating field.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and provide instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to policy.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment for the patient.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of specimens and surgical waste.

Schedule / Shift
- 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM

Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with First Assist certification or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in surgical first assisting.

Experience
- Previous experience as a CST in an Operating Room setting.
- Experience in first assisting during a variety of surgical procedures.

Skills
- Proficient in surgical instrumentation and supplies.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and principles of aseptic practice.
- Ability to anticipate surgeon's needs and provide proactive support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
