JOB TITLE: TRAVEL - ECHO TECH

JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic echocardiograms. This role involves operating ultrasound equipment to create and record images of the heart and surrounding structures, assisting physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of echocardiographic examinations, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
• Operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper settings and image acquisition.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Record and process diagnostic images and data accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Required Qualifications
• Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Proficient in performing echocardiograms.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to interpret ultrasound images.

Experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist.

Certifications
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills
• Proficient in ultrasound equipment operation.
• Strong understanding of cardiac imaging techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and documentation.
