Job Summary
The Registered Nurse – Staff provides effective care delivery and management of patient care within the fertility specialty. This role involves telephonic, protocolized, and outreach-based work, requiring OBGYN-trained RNs with comfort and familiarity in fertility services. The nurse communicates and coordinates with all entities involved in patient care to promote safe, high-quality outcomes, making decisions based on critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
Monday through Friday 8:30-5pm
Location: Burlington or Wellesley or Quincy, Mass.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, providing education and managing care transitions
  • Deliver patient care and follow-up in alignment with RN protocols, including medication administration and chronic disease management
  • Conduct telephone triage, escalate concerns appropriately, and support the clinical team with care coordination
  • Perform clinical procedures and manage acute conditions during patient visits, ensuring timely EMR documentation
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, mentor nursing staff, and uphold patient service and safety standards

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of a State-approved nursing school
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current nursing standards in fertility/OBGYN specialty
  • Computer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets
  • EMR experience or aptitude to master EMR systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • ACLS certification (may be required based on specialty)
  • 2+ years of RN experience
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret clinical information, assess treatment implications, and develop care plans
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in rapidly changing environments
  • Excellence in practice, documentation, and cost-effective care utilization

Education: Bachelors Degree

Certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
