The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers, ensuring efficient patient care and smooth office operations. This role involves direct patient interaction, assisting with examinations, and managing medical records in a fast-paced primary care environment.

8:30-5p
9:30-6p
Work days per week: 5 days M - F
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
Record patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information
Prepare and maintain patient charts and electronic medical records
Administer basic clinical tasks such as injections, specimen collection, and diagnostic tests under supervision
Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals
Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and follow-up care
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain confidentiality
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Client Health or primary care experience (minimum 1 year)
Flexibility to work in a changing environment
Epic EHR experience preferred but not required
Associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field
Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting
Multilingual skills for patient communication
Certifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
