Blood Bank experience required
Trauma Center setting experience required
This position provides examination and test performance on human specimens for purposes of obtaining information for the diagnosis, treatment of monitoring of patients; or for providing information to others who will diagnose and treat patients.
Responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and results reporting.
To perform laboratory analysis and administrative tasks associated with clinical assessment of patients.
Performs highly complex testing and coordinates teaching of Clinical Laboratory Science and medical students, residents, fellows, and other members of hospital. Execute tasks required to maintain accreditation with JCAHO, CAP, DCRA, AABB, and FDA
Skills:
Training from qualified Medical Technology Program
Registration ASCP or Equivalent Board of Registry
Minimum 2 years acute care experience
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required
Training in a qualified Medical Technology Program

Education: Bachelors Degree
