Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment efficiency. This role involves both technical and administrative responsibilities to support the smooth operation of radiologic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Examination Rooms: Set up and prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient imaging procedures.
  • Administer Radiopharmaceuticals: Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Patient Positioning & Comfort: Position patients and equipment correctly, explain procedures to ensure patient comfort, and answer any questions.
  • Data Entry & Image Adjustment: Enter scan commands into the system, monitor video displays, and adjust settings such as density or contrast for optimal imaging.
  • Patient Monitoring & Safety: Observe patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and adherence to protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Produce Diagnostic Images: Capture and produce diagnostic images, report key findings to the physician, and update patient records accordingly.
  • Procedure Scheduling & Supply Monitoring: Organize daily procedure schedules, handle emergencies, and monitor inventory levels for radiographic supplies.
  • Administrative Support: Answer technical questions, schedule patient appointments, provide pre-procedure guidance, and perform other administrative tasks.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance checks and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment to ensure functionality and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain procedures to patients and collaborate with medical staff.
  • Ability to perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
