The Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care.
This role involves monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and interpreting data from medical equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Review patients' charts, medication regimens, and test results upon admission to the PCU.
Monitor routine vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
Interpret and assess data from specialized medical equipment to inform care decisions.
Administer prescribed medications and perform titration of drug doses as needed.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting specialized medical equipment.
Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Certification in Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN).
Experience with medication titration in a PCU or critical care setting.
