We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will work closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to help patients achieve their goals, regain their independence, and return to their daily lives. This role involves providing hands-on nursing care, educating patients and their caregivers, and promoting realistic independence in patients recovering from chronic diseases or injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence.
Educate patients and their families/caregivers on techniques and strategies for managing chronic diseases or injuries.
Provide hands-on nursing care to achieve quality outcomes for patients, ensuring compassionate and holistic care.
Serve as a role model for the nursing team, offering educational support and information to staff, patients, and their families.
Promote achievable independence for patients, setting realistic goals based on their capabilities and rehabilitation progress.
Maintain a high standard of patient care and work closely with the healthcare team to coordinate and evaluate patient progress.
Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university.
Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).
1-2 years of recent nursing experience in Rehabilitation (preferred).
Previous experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to educate patients and families effectively.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and support a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Certification: Basic Life Support Certification , Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Certificaiton , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
