Key Responsibilities
Patient Intake: Greet and assist patients during the admissions process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance information and assist with pre-certification processes as needed.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to hospital-based federal rules, regulations, and policies related to patient admissions.
Payment Processing: Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays, deductibles, and other financial responsibilities.
Software Utilization: Use hospital software tools (such as EMR and billing systems) to input and update patient data.
Customer Service: Provide compassionate support to patients and families, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their admission.

Required Qualifications
Previous experience in admitting roles, insurance verification, or related positions within a healthcare environment.
