Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations that assist in diagnosing and treating vascular conditions. This role requires ensuring high-quality imaging, accurate results, and maintaining patient comfort and safety during the procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations on patients.
- Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound results.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all procedures and findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Technician.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment.
- Strong understanding of vascular anatomy and pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited ultrasound technology program.
Certifications:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
