The CT Technologist in Radiology is responsible for preparing and operating radiology equipment to perform CT scans and other radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
This role requires technical expertise and a commitment to high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and instruments according to patient needs.
Position patients accurately and safely for CT and radiological procedures.
Operate x-ray and CT machines following established protocols to ensure optimal patient safety and imaging quality.
Develop, process, and select radiological films as needed for accurate diagnostic results.
Required Qualifications:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in radiology or CT.
COVID-19 vaccination required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of radiologic safety protocols and patient positioning techniques.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS).
