The CT Technologist is responsible for preparing examination rooms, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during radiological procedures. This role is vital for obtaining optimal imaging results while adhering to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and instruments based on individual patient needs.
Position patients accurately for radiological procedures to ensure optimal imaging results.
Operate the x-ray machine in accordance with established procedures to guarantee patient safety and comfort.
Develop, process, and select radiological film as part of the imaging workflow.
Required Qualifications:
AART Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required for unit-specific applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Certifications:
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
