Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team. The ideal candidate will have recent full-time nursing experience, be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, and possess the necessary licenses and certifications. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in the home setting, and requires a current California Driver’s License as well as proof of automobile insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the home setting.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance with standards of practice.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and healthcare advancements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience (within the last 3 years).
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current State Driver’s License with a clear driving record for the past two years.
- Proof of automobile insurance as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
