• Interpret a physician’s referral and select an appropriate standardized evaluation procedure.
• Evaluate patient in the following areas: independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills and various psychosocial skills.
• Interpret the data and develop a treatment plan involving short and long-term goals, frequency and duration of treatment.
• Assist patient in carrying out these procedures through the design and fabrication of adaptive equipment and orthotic devices, joint protection and body mechanics.
• Inform patient and family goals and progress.
• Assist with discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patient on home therapy plan.
• May supervise students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
• Experience: Min of 1 year of experience in specialty.
• Requirements: BLS(CPR) & current state License
• License/Certification: BLS(CPR)

Certification: Basic Life Support
