We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Infusion team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients receiving infusion treatments, administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy while ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments to patients.
Monitor patients during infusions, assessing for any adverse reactions and ensuring proper management.
Educate patients and their families on the treatment process, side effects, and self-care after treatment.
Document all patient information, treatment details, and reactions accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and patient outcomes.
Ensure proper maintenance and preparation of infusion equipment and medications.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification as per the American Heart Association (AHA).
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
More than 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience and completion of the Nurse Residency Program, if applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN from an accredited school of nursing is preferred.
Experience in infusion nursing or oncology nursing is highly desirable.
