Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care to a variety of patients in a hospital setting. The role involves caring for patients with a wide range of health problems, from simple to complex. The RN will work as part of a team, assisting physicians, administering treatments, and monitoring patient health, while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring high-quality care.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
• Assist physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observing physiological manifestations, and intervening when necessary.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including initiating, regulating, and monitoring intravenous infusions and blood products.
• Provide competent patient care while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
• Interact with patients and families to share care plans, both during hospitalization and at discharge.
• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures and policies.
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
• Delegate tasks to support staff as necessary.
General Responsibilities:
• Perform other duties as assigned to support hospital operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.

Required Education:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Preferred Education:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an approved program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Current RN License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
