Job Summary
• Responsible for photographing patients before consultations in the Plastic Surgical Clinic with proper consent and uploading images to EPIC.
• Assists in surgical procedures, ensures procedure rooms are prepared, and provides support to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
• Photograph patients before consultations, obtain consent, and upload images to EPIC.
• Prepare procedure rooms according to hospital standards, including cleaning, stocking, and setting up instruments.
• Assist physicians during procedures by handing instruments, changing dressings, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Support in-office procedures such as core needle biopsy, incisions/excisions, and drainage.
• Update EPIC with procedure-related information.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families before and during procedures.
• Process collected specimens by labeling and documenting them in EPIC.
Certification: Medical Assistant Certification , Basic Life Support
