Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the RN is primarily responsible for professional performance and direct patient care.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while coordinating care for patients and families across the healthcare continuum.
Ensure accountability for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal patient care outcomes, following the care model established by the nursing department in accordance with agency policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of practice.
Collaborate with the healthcare team, reporting to the unit nurse manager.
Requirements:
At least 24 months of experience as a Med Surg Tele RN in a hospital setting.
Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to access, enter, and interpret computerized data.
Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and efficiently complete assigned work.
Education:
Graduate from an accredited nursing school, with an associate's or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
Certification & License:
Active license to practice professional nursing as a Registered Nurse.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required (AHA).
