Recruiting Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process for assigned exempt and non-exempt positions. This includes the development and implementation of recruitment plans, advertising programs, and recruitment metrics. The role involves posting jobs, sourcing passive candidates, negotiating salaries, and managing the recruitment lifecycle. The Recruiting Coordinator ensures compliance with state and federal laws, EEO regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process. ICIMS and LAWSON experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment Management:
  • Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process for various positions.
  • Develop and implement recruitment plans and advertising programs to attract top talent.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics to track the effectiveness and success of recruitment efforts.
  • Post job openings, source passive candidates, negotiate salary offers, and close candidates.
  • Recruitment Strategy & Process Improvement:
  • Develop strategies and action plans to efficiently manage recruitment workload.
  • Ensure all selection and interview procedures comply with state and federal laws, EEO regulations, and hospital policies.

Collaboration & Support:
  • Build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to meet talent acquisition needs.
  • Provide recruitment support to HR and departmental teams as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a Health Care-related field.
  • Two years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably within a healthcare or acute care setting. 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
  • ICIMS and LAWSON experience is a plus.
  • HR certification (SPHR, HRCI) or HR specialty certification desired.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong proficiency with HRIS, ATS systems (especially ICIMS), and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Sensitivity in handling confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and resolve complex recruitment challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in healthcare recruitment, particularly in acute care settings.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR systems and ATS tools, with a strong focus on ICIMS.
Recruitment Coordinator – Essential Job Duties:
  • Recruitment Support:
  • Assist in recruiting for allied departments such as EVS and Dietary.
  • Facilitate the hiring process, including interviewing and screening candidates.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration.

Administrative Support:
  • Assist hiring managers with posting requisitions to iCIMS and ensuring appropriate approvals are entered.
  • Maintain an up-to-date listing of open positions and track the status of applicants.
  • Provide clerical support to recruiters during the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes.

Working Conditions:
  • Location: Palmdale Regional Medical Center.
  • Hours: Full-time, typically Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.
