Tewksbury Treatment Center is a 32-bed detoxification program providing 24-hour nursing care to support individuals withdrawing from alcohol and/or other drugs.
We offer medical and emotional support to clients during this critical stage of recovery. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and supportive environment, monitoring clients, and assisting with admissions and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor client activities to ensure a safe and structured environment.
Conduct 30-minute client well-being checks and observe client behavior.
Assist with telephone screenings and admissions processes.
Search client belongings upon admission, discharge, or as directed.
Complete shift documentation, checklists, and records in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders (preferred).
Valid State Driver’s License in good standing (preferred).
