We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, including CT scans, angiograms, and biopsies. This position offers a favorable schedule with no holidays or weekends required unless voluntary. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in CT procedures and trauma cases, with experience operating 64-slice GE scanners in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
CT Imaging: Perform CT scans, angiograms, and biopsies with precision, following department protocols and ensuring patient safety.
Equipment Operation: Operate 64-slice GE scanners and maintain high standards in trauma imaging.
Patient Care: Provide compassionate and knowledgeable care to patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
Collaboration: Work with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnoses.
Documentation: Use EPIC EMR to accurately document patient procedures and results.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in CT scanning, angiograms, and related procedures in a hospital setting. Trauma experience preferred.
Certifications:
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
ARRT CT Certification.
BLS (Basic Life Support).
MA Radiation License.
