The ideal candidate will follow treatment plans, administer medications, and respond to emergency psychiatric situations while maintaining detailed medical records.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow doctors’ orders and treatment plans to deliver effective patient care.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing patient monitoring.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment and care plans.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the care team.
- Document all treatments, medications, and patient care details in medical records.
- Respond promptly to emergency psychiatric situations.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License for Rhode Island or Compact License.
- Current COVID-19 vaccination record.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in psychiatric nursing or behavioral health settings.
