We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role focuses on administering infusion therapies, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other intravenous (IV) medications according to established protocols.
Monitor patients during infusions, observing for adverse reactions and responding promptly to emergencies.
Assess patient conditions, document treatments accurately, and maintain comprehensive medical records.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care post-infusion.
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe infusion environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with best practices in oncology care.
Required Qualifications:
Licensure: Current State RN license.
Certifications:
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification (required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
Experience: Prior experience in infusion therapy, oncology, or related clinical settings preferred.
