• Deliver perioperative care to patients in recovery, procedure, and operating rooms.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including disinfecting and cleaning surgical sites.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by managing surgical instruments and providing direct support.
• Adhere strictly to sterile techniques in all phases of surgery.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report critical changes to the surgical team.
• Stock and maintain sterile supplies, surgical instruments, linens, and medications in the operating room.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical technicians, and other medical professionals.
• Update and maintain accurate patient medical records and care plans.
• Provide post-operative care instructions and education to patients and their families.
• Ensure the safe use and storage of all surgical equipment and supplies.
• Participate in the ordering and inventory management of surgical supplies.

• Active RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• Perioperative and intraoperative nursing care
• Surgical equipment sterilization and management
• Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced OR environments
• Proficient in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• EMR proficiency and detailed record-keeping
• Knowledge of post-operative care and patient education
