1. Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
2. Assist with mobility and positioning to prevent discomfort or injury
3. Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the hospice care team
4. Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and peaceful environment for the patient
6. Support the hospice team in implementing care plans
7. Document care activities and observations accurately
8. Respect patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards of care
9. 
   

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Completion of a certified Home Health Aide or Hospice Aide training program
3. Ability to provide compassionate care in emotionally sensitive situations
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and care tasks
6. 
   

• Previous experience in hospice or palliative care settings
• Familiarity with end-of-life care protocols and comfort measures
• 
  

1. Valid HHA certification as required by state regulations
2. CPR and First Aid certification

Education: High School

Certification: First Aid certification
