• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using specialized imaging equipment
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy
• Apply radiation safety measures and protection devices for patients and staff
• Evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments to equipment settings
• Maintain accurate patient records and document relevant clinical information
• Communicate findings and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment and report issues promptly
• Stay current with advancements in mammography technology and best practices

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid state license to practice as a Mammography Technologist
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

• Mammography certification (ARRT Mammography credential)
• Experience with digital mammography systems and image management software
• Familiarity with breast ultrasound, biopsy, or MRI procedures

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Mammography certification (preferred)

1. May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting during procedures
2. Must adhere to HIPAA and safety regulations
3. On-call or weekend shifts may be required depending on facility needs
