We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse – Telemetry to join our team. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, recognizing and responding to abnormal rhythms, and delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to act swiftly in emergent situations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, identifying and responding to arrhythmias or changes in condition.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding their condition, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and patient care protocols.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
