• The Emergency Nurse provides care to patients with urgent or critical illness, patients requiring emergency care and patients seeking treatment for non-urgent care.
• The Emergency Nurse triages patients according to care requirements and provides ongoing assessment of their condition, immediate interventions and discharge teaching.
• The Emergency Department Nurse provides care to those within any of the following populations: pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric and with those of adult age on an inter-disciplinary level; must be able to effectively interact appropriate to individual's intellectual level and physical ability.
• Emergency Room RN providing primary and specialized nursing care per ANA standards

  Must have Emergency Medicine experience

  EPIC experience required

  COVID & Flu vaccination required

  Active RI RN license required

  BLS and specialty certifications as applicable

  Must be able to assist in patient transfers and mobility

• MA RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CPI or MOAB required

Education: Bachelors Degree

Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiac Life Support , Pediatric Advanced Life Support
