The Emergency Nurse provides care to patients with urgent or critical illness, patients requiring emergency care and patients seeking treatment for non-urgent care.
The Emergency Nurse triages patients according to care requirements and provides ongoing assessment of their condition, immediate interventions and discharge teaching.
The Emergency Department Nurse provides care to those within any of the following populations: pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric and with those of adult age on an inter-disciplinary level; must be able to effectively interact appropriate to individual's intellectual level and physical ability.
Emergency Room RN providing primary and specialized nursing care per ANA standards
Must have Emergency Medicine experience
EPIC experience required
COVID & Flu vaccination required
Active RI RN license required
BLS and specialty certifications as applicable
Must be able to assist in patient transfers and mobility
Requirements
MA RN License required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required
CPI or MOAB required
Education: Bachelors Degree
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiac Life Support , Pediatric Advanced Life Support
