Job Summary
• Support surgical teams by preparing patients and operating rooms for procedures
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during operations and respond to intraoperative needs

Key Responsibilities
• Giving preoperative instructions
• Preparing patients for surgery
• Assisting the anesthetist and surgeons when needed
• Sterilizing and marking incision sites
• Intervening when there are complications
• Administering medication
• Preparing the operating room

Required Qualifications
• Relevant clinical or surgical assistance experience
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience assisting in various types of surgeries
• Strong understanding of patient care in a surgical setting

Certifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent clinical certification
• Any regionally required certification for surgical assistants
