1. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
2. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with nursing standards and physician orders
3. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
4. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care
5. Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
6. Float between designated units according to facility needs and RN competency
7. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety, dignity, and comfort
8. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions

1. Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
2. Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
3. BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
4. Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
5. Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
6. Previous float experience preferred, but not required

1. Experience floating across multiple units in a hospital setting
2. Proficiency with common EMR systems

1. BLS (AHA) — required
2. ACLS (AHA) — required

Education: Associate's Degree

Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiac Life Support
