The Integration Analyst II supports the business goals and objectives of the Technical Integration Team, the Information Services Organization, and the organization as a whole. With some supervision, this role is responsible for converting customer requirements into messaging specifications for application integration. The Integration Analyst II should have knowledge of healthcare messaging, an understanding of messaging formats/specifications, and the ability to provide gap analysis documentation. This position also requires the ability to communicate technical findings back to the business in clear, business-oriented terms.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with teams in the analysis, design, development, and delivery of technical integration solutions.
Work closely with project teams on customer-specific initiatives involving message movement, translation, or integration development.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to message transformations and flows.
Analyze customer messaging specifications and provide gap analysis documentation.
Ensure compliance with healthcare messaging standards and organizational requirements.
Provide feedback to business stakeholders in non-technical terms after completing technical gap analysis.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (proof of education required).
EPIC Bridges certification with online verification required.
Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in technical analysis, design, and integration implementation.
At least 2 years of experience integrating messaging between healthcare systems (EMRs, applications, third parties).
Experience in data conversions across multiple EMRs to EPIC.
Minimum of 2 years working with relational databases, Transact-SQL, and SQL.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, Word, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Prior experience in healthcare IT integration projects.
Familiarity with HL7 messaging standards and healthcare interoperability frameworks.
Experience working in cross-functional project teams.
Certifications (if any)
EPIC Bridges certification (required).
Additional healthcare IT or database certifications are a plus.
