The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care provides compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a healthcare facility. This role ensures the highest standards of clinical practice, promotes resident well-being, and supports interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment procedures
Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately in health records
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Supervise and support nursing assistants and other staff to ensure compliance with care standards
Educate residents and families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care
Maintain infection control practices and adhere to facility policies and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Education: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN)
Experience: Prior experience in long-term care or healthcare facility preferred
Skills: Strong clinical assessment abilities, communication skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation care
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in applicable state
