Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse – Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in telemetry units, monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and escalate concerns as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a telemetry or acute care setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Advanced training or experience in cardiac monitoring or critical care
