We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cath Lab Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. The technologist will assist in a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, utilizing advanced imaging technology to support timely and accurate diagnoses. This role requires clinical expertise, precision, and a collaborative approach in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and instruments used in the Cath Lab.
Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Monitor patient vitals and condition throughout procedures, responding promptly to any changes.
Document procedure details, equipment usage, and patient responses accurately.
Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed at all times
Provide patient care and education before, during, and after procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure efficient and safe operations in the lab.
Required Qualifications
Current ARRT RT(R) or RCIS credential – Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA – Required
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of experience or formal training in a Cath Lab or Angiography setting in a hospital environment.
