Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate clinical expertise, and effectively collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg/Telemetry unit.
  2. Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including cardiac telemetry monitoring.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  5. Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
  6. Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
  7. Ensure a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Required Qualification
  1. Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  2. Studying patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  3. Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
  4. Monitoring, interpreting, and recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.
  5. Administering medication and performing treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists.
  6. Experience: 1 years
  7. Requirements: COVID vaccination
  8. License/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  9. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  10. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Additional experience in acute care or telemetry monitoring is a plus.
  2. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Certifications
  1. BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  2. RN License – Active and in good standing
