We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. The PTA will assist patients in improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function through prescribed treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
Implement treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor patient progress and report updates to the physical therapist
Educate patients and families on proper techniques for exercises and mobility
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
Ensure compliance with safety standards and clinical protocols
Required Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
