We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical unit. The RN will provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, and state regulations
Monitor patient conditions, assess vital signs, and promptly report changes to the healthcare team
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and hospital standards
Respond effectively to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and patient care standards
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
1–2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting
BSN degree preferred
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Certifications (if any)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
Education: Associate's Degree
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
